About Us and Our Philosophy

We are a team of game and strategy lovers born and raised in New Zealand. We have been active in the NZ games and hobbies community, especially Pokémon TCG, for over 15 years. We have battled all around the country ranging from epic battles at our home kitchen tables to many National Championships. We've even been to the World Championships in the US multiple times. 

The Game Tree was planted (excuse us) in late 2021 as a result of our genuine passion and love for the game and local community. We are huge hobby enthusiasts and customers, and we love the idea of building a business that we would want to shop at ourselves. We have built up an excellent reputation over many years on Trade Me and in private settings; buying, selling and trading.

Over the years, we have shopped at countless places both in New Zealand and internationally.

The Game Tree is the result of our unmatched experience buying, selling and trading locally in New Zealand and globally. Our priority is to offer top service, good communication and a competitively priced and exciting product range.

We are excited for the journey ahead. We are in this for the long run. We have many exciting plans going forward.

As young children, we were taught the well known saying: "treat others how you would like to be treated". We strongly believe this and it is the very heart of our core values.
